Pie in the Sky

pie ready for delivery Pie in the Sky is a fall fundraiser, in support of our food program's home meal delivery program. Pie Peddlers sell pies baked by a celebrity list of bakers, with all proceeds going to directly support our program for people living with HIV/AIDS who are home bound. This Thanksgiving, provide your guests with a dessert to talk about. Buy a pie specially baked by a chef, and help provide healthy food to someone with HIV/AIDS. In Pie in the Sky, chefs bake pies leading up to Thanksgiving to support the vital food programs of the Toronto People With AIDS Foundation (PWA). A $35 pie can bring a meal to ten people with HIV/AIDS whose long term survival depends on proper nutrition. Last year we provided over 30,000 meals. This exciting event and urgent cause have attracted chefs from such celebrated restaurants as Canoe and Daniel et Danielto bake pies.

How it works

delicious pie After Labour Day, visit www.torontopieinthesky.org, click on the "Buy a Pie" link to order and your pie will be ready for pick up, at your chosen pie pick up location, on Friday, October 9th. Whether you need a pie or not make a difference in the life of someone living with HIV/AIDS by making a donation online.

All funds from the event go to support our critical Food Programs: a Essentials Market and our prepared meal service Food for Life. The purchase of 1 pie provides 10 meals to a man, woman or child living with HIV/AIDS.
